Bottle. Clear yellow, white head. Aroma and taste of grains, biscuit, fruity notes. Rather bland overall.

High hopes for this low abv cream ale. After all, I like Genny cream! Hey, you know, I liked Carolina Beer Co. Blonde (retired), and it wasn’t bad and I heard a rumor this is the new carolina blonde, almost same recipe! From a bottle I assume its clear pale yellow. Smell is a little sour. Taste is initially a little tart, I think. Good bubbly sensations. Enjoyable, un-offensive with just a tail of that ale attitude. Yes, could drink a couple of these mild ales, not bad.

On tap at Capitol On Tap. Clear golden with small white head. Aroma is light grain, light body, lower carbonation, and pretty good lacing. Taste is light malt.

Draft at the source. Almost clear, scant white head. Aroma of smooth straw. Taste is bitter and lager like.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle shared at home. Pours a cloudy pale gold. Alfalfa notes in the nose. Light and crisp. Good summer beer.

Bottle. Beer of the month club. Hazy yellow color with a big frothy white head. Aroma has some floral and grassy hops, some overripe fruits, yeasty notes, some pale malt and light graininess. Flavor starts sweetish with some graininess and fruitiness and continues drier with light yeasty notes and a moderately bitter finish with spicy, grassy hops notes. Light to medium-bodied with too much carbonation. OK.

From the 8/2012 3R6P tasting +++ Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a very pale yellow color with a medium sized foamy white head that faded quickly and left minimal lacing. The aroma was dry and tart with notes of citrus and perfume. The flavor was dry and tart with vague citrus, band aid and a touch of bread. Medium length dry, tart and citric finish. Light body. Not good.

12 ounce bottle from Harris Teeter Crozet. Pours a hazy yellow color with a large foamy off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of toasted malts, grassy hops, corn and apples. Almost skunky, oddly. The taste is tart malts, corn, grain grassy hops. Medium bodied and refreshing.

Pours pale yellow into a pilsner. Bright white head with little retention recedes to nothing. Soft with sour corn and sweet wheat.
