Light gushing to huge rubiginous yellow head over fully hazy redbrown beer. Sweet nose with aniseed, almonds, marzipan. Spicy and roasted, but generally referring to really sweet flavours. Faint acidity, helped by the rather overdone carbonation; yeasty too. Very thick, creamy texture. Long lasting flavours with roasty bitter(ish)ness. Sweet Bock.

Lekker, saftig dobbelbocksmak i perfekt balanse. Myk bitterhet og lang avslutning.

Malty, spicy taste with caramel, dried fruit, coffee, dark bread, cinnamon, anise and a balanced spicy bitterness. More than medium body, with balanced sweetness. Tasty and quite spicy. Quite nice.

33 cl Duvel shaped bottle from Mitra Bunnik, 2015 version at 7% ABV 50 EBC and 26 IBU, BB 03/09/18, large sample. Slight hazy ruby color, big rocky brown head. Aroma is fruity, quite spicy, slight nutty as well, autumn leaves and spices, figs. Bit sweet in taste, spicy, slight nutmeg and clove notes. Like a typical spicy belgian double disguised as Dutch bock, but pretty tasty.
