Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours slightly hazy golden with small/medium white head. Aroma is grainy, medium body, medium carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is grainy, some crisp herbal hops, and slightly bitter finish. Didn’t do it for me.

OK for style. Pours orange with good head and lacing. Very light banana, bread yeast. Some citrus funk in here as well. Finishes with soft citrus sourness. Tap at Summerfest DC.

Stolen from the ladyfriend: Pours a light orange with a white head. Aroma is light banana and a bit of spice. Taste is slightly sweet with the banana and clove flavours subtly going throughout. Mouthfeel is rather good as well. This is a subdued, but well-executed hefe. I approve.

Bottle thanks to Dan. Poured a hazy pale orange with a large white head that lasted throughout the beer. Aroma has a sweet wheat note with a strong backing orange peel note. Flavor was a bit more thin with sweet wheat in the beginning with a hint of citrus and flora coming out in the finish.

Cloudy yellow color, big foamy head. Spicy nose with some bubblegum and wee hints of banana. Flavor is sweet bubblegum mostly. Wheat grain in the finish, and a little spicy. Interesting.

22oz bomber. Hazy orange tan color with a fluffy, quickly diminishing head. Sweet minty clove aroma, fresh and nice. Very pleasant on the palate, with some solid lemony-clove taste. Some hop character comes through, giving it a nice balance. Light to medium-bodied, very refreshing with a lemony sweet mild astringency. Better than expected, this is a quality product.

Bottle from WFM Charlottesville. Pours a hazy straw-lemon color with a medium sized frothy head. Good retention and moderate lacing. Aroma was skunk at first but mellowed into yeast and clove. Taste is watery, bland and uninteresting. A little sourness and a typical yeast flavor. Bleh.

Nice slightly hazy golden coloured body with a very large white head. Tons of bubbles rise from the bottom - and a very nice unfiltered look to this one! Aroma of fresh wheat, yeast, lemons, bananas, coriander seed and some spice. Medium-bodied; Spicey flavour up front with some good wheat and yeast characteristics following soon behind. Aftertaste shows more of the wheat, some coriander seed and a very pleasant banana sweetness. Overall, a good beer - a nice wheat to have in the summertime and one to definitely sample if you can find it in or around Virginia. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Grape & Gourmet in Virginia Beach, Virginia on 17-September-2007.
