Double West Coast baby !
La West Coast, on adore ça, tout comme la DIPA. La grande question est : pourquoi n'avions nous pas encore faire de Double West Coast IPA ?
C'est une bonne question, mais c'est une erreur qui est maintenant réparée.
C'est pas la mer à boire... est une DIPA brassée avec Nelson Sauvin & Manilita en haute quantité. En bouche, une franche amertume et de légères notes fumées viennent titiller tes papilles.
Un trouble naturel est présent dans la canette : elle est toute fraîche et comme nous utilisons des houblons NZ en grande quantité, même si la robe de la bière est supposée être claire, cela peut apporter un léger trouble. C'est normal, c'est souvent résolu à coup de clarifiant mais on souhaite garder nos bières les plus naturelles possibles donc on n'en utilise pas. Cela finit toujours par sédimenter.

"C'est pas la mer à boire..." is a DIPA brewed with generous amounts of Nelson Sauvin and Manilita hops. On the palate, a bold bitterness and subtle smoky notes tickle your taste buds.
You might notice some natural haze in the can; it’s super fresh, and because we use such large quantities of New Zealand hops—which can cause cloudiness even in beers meant to be clear—a slight haze is to be expected. It’s perfectly normal. While this is often fixed using fining agents, we prefer to keep our beers as natural as possible, so we don't use them. It will eventually settle out.

Moderately hazed orange golden topped with an off white cap that veers to the edge.
Nose is orange zest, grapefruit, grass, pine needle, mandarin.
Taste comprises grapefruit, pine needle, grass, raw pineapple, papaya.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come lightly resinous hop bitterness.
Tidy punchy DIPA.

Can. A mild haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. A light palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Slightly thin bodied pale malts, a very light creamy sweetness that suits this style. Hops bring crisp cooling pine. A pretty good Nelson grapey tang, a little gooseberry. The Maniita hops, a tad surpressed, but showing on the back end with slightly tangy red grapefruit. Light and semi dry finish brings mild hop spice and leaves a pleasant hop fruity tangy linger.
