Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours orange amber with a slight head. Weak floral over light malt for aroma. Med minus body. Flavor is more like an amber than an APA. Hoped for more.

Bottle. Light apple and barley malt aroma. Golden yellow with a large head. Sweet apple/orange malt and lightly bitter citric hops flavor. Drinkable but a pretty mediocre APA.

From a twist off bottle. Aroma of dull hops and volatile metal. Slightly darker than a pale lager. Unique bitter hoppy combonation. Soft hops build to a sharp poker. Yes, over the top in flavor for a typical brew from this brewer. Rated at 6% and it tastes like it. Lots of personality on the finish, medium long. Good co2 saves it.

12 ounce bottle from State Line. Pours a clear amber color with a large frothy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of caramel malts with a bit of toastiness, Floral, herbal and slightly peppery notes. The taste is floral, pine, minty hops with faint malts. Thin-medium bodied. Smells great but the rest of the beer is a little underwhelming.

Slightly hazy copper coloured body with an orange glow and a thick, four centimetre tall tan head - nice head. Aroma of pale malt, toffee, basement, must and a bit of raisins - not so great. Light-bodied; Chewy musty and cardboardie malt with a little light hops and a bit of sugars with a funky, assertive grassy and earthy aftertaste. Palate shows some light sugars, a bit of malt and even less hops - nothing nice in the back of this one. Overall, a pretty poor offering, for the style and for beer in general. Not worth finding or even buying, unless its less than a US$. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 28-May-2012 for US$1.45 sampled at home in Washington on 04-September-2012.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured an orange-caramel color with a huge creamy orange-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was sweet toasted caramel, dark fruits, grapefruit and lemon - unexpectedly pleasant. The flavor was bitter and tart with notes of lemon, orange, pink grapefruit, faint biscuit and caramel. Long finish of orange, lemon and pink grapefruit and turns dry as it lingers. Medium body. Ok.

Bottle @ home picked up at Wilbur’s Foco. Pours a clear, dark orange appearance with a medium sized, light brown head. Toasted grainy, biscuity, cracker, a touch fruity aroma. A touch tangy, light caramel, cracker, toasty malty, bready, herbal, strangely hoppy/bitter flavor. Pass.

on tap-pours amber with an offwhite head. Aroma is floral/grassy/pine, some light malt. Taste is mild floral/grassy/pine hops, 2nd light malt.

Bottle. Pours with a crystal clear quite deep golden hued body with a small white head that fades. Aromas are bready, malty, cereal, grapefruit with a little bit of a herbal hop bite. Medium toasted malt. Flavors are nutty, malty, toasted munich. Hop character is herbal, citrus, lightly spicy. Clean fermentation wise. Lively bubbles, medium dry.
