Handpull cask at the Blue Boar, Leicester. Darker gold with an orange hue clear with a full but quickly dissipating beige head. Scent of grain and buttered toast along with some fresh fruits - candied orange and maybe some persimmon - with floral character. Sweet taste, quite malty, with a slight bitter edge. Longer bitter finish. Medium body, soft carbonation. This is really good for a basic English golden.
