Bomber from Beverages 4 Less in Santee, CA. Been in the fridge a long, long time. Pours very darkly ruddy with an orange tinged (swear that) tan head. Lots of pie spice. Cinnamon in the front, I think. Med body. Starts with spice, gets a strong chocolate hit, then goes on to mixed spice followed by dry dark baking chocolate. But pumpkin? I dunno bout that. Finishes dry, chocolate and spicy. Good ale.

22 oz. bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma of nutmeg, cinnamon and some pumpkin, along with some cocoa and toasted malts. Flavour of sweet caramel malts, pumpkin, cinnamon and nutmeg. Medium bodied with a wonderful mix of the spices and the porter qualities. Great stuff.

Bottle. Pours black with off white head. Nose and taste of roasted pumpkin, chocolate malt, dry cocoa, vanilla and hints of tangy citrus. Finishes mostly dry with a touch of resin and dry cocoa. Some muted autumn spices in deep background. Medium body.

Bottle. Deep, near black hued body, lasting tan head. Good lace. Aromas roast pumpkin, medium spice, sweet spice, nutmeg crystallized ginger. Roast character is mild, light chocolate. Flavors are roasty, dry, tobacco ashy, cocoa, leathery, brown sugar, spicy, bitter chocolate. Very bitter roast and spice character. Medium carbonation. Dry.

Bottle shared on the GABF Friday brewery tour bus, thanks Steve (I think, well thanks anyway). It pours an amber color supporting a light tan head of foam. The modest aroma offers up a pleasing mix of pumpkin and spices with cinnamon and some nutmeg and then some nearly dark roasted maltiness in the background. The taste has a nearly bright richness but it doesn’t become too rich but rather light on its feet. Really tasty almost refreshing degree of richness (if that even makes the slightest sense). I get fresh pumpkin meat sprinkled with crushed dark roasted malty grains, cinnamon and nutmeg spiciness. Dynamite stuff. If you want something rich yet less than imperial this is it.

Thanks Eric for the bomber! Enjoyed at 50 Degrees F in a Tulip.
A - Deep dark amber brown in the glass. No head, amber hues but ultimately, a very dark beer.
S - Lots of Fall spices in this beer loving the cinnamon and nutmeg and very raw sort of pumpkin innards on the nose.
T - Sort of an earthy musty up front taste, brown sugar and spices at the middle. Finish is VERY well balanced with spices and other goodness. Wow.
M - Medium body, light carbonation. This is very nice residual sweetness at the finish.
O - Nicely balanced beer! Very pleasant to drink.

Bomber shared by the guys in the party crew on the bus! 930 am, lets get cracking! 2012 version. Pours a deep brown color with a medium white head. A smooth nose of pumpkins and chocolate, light roast. Very smooth and clean flavors: pumpkins, light spices including cinnamon, light porter elements with chocolate and caramel. Good.
