Can from HomeBrewStuff. Everything normal to start, medium amber with small fluffy head. Light malty aroma. Taste ratchets up the malts, caramel and toffee, recalling an English bitter. Not overly sweet, but pretty robust flavor. Some latent dry bitterness, very faint.

On tap at The Knitting Factory whilst waiting around for Neutral Milk Hotel to take the stage! Hazy amber pour with an off white creamy head. Nutty, biscuity aroma and taste. Light bitterness. Average amber, but it’s good.

Draft. Clear amber color, medium white head. Aroma of caramel and subtle white pepper. Taste is sweet and malty caramel and brown bread. Decent.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours hazy amber with a foamy beige head. Sort of a warm malt aroma with definite hints of diacetyl. Near med body. It is a tad buttery. Which sort of makes the malt go toffee. Very malty, but not too sweet, and there does seem enough bitter to balance. Far from exciting, but it does seem to have used a fair amount of ingredients. There’s substance.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear amber, no head. Vaguely buttery nose. Sweet, clean and hard. Heavily buttery with some metal. Low bitterness. Not much to like here.
