Super hazy golden yellow coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall pale white head and quite a bit of haze all around. Aroma of strong belgian yeast with lots of spices, herbs and bite, also with some alcohol, pine and a light sweetness noticeable. Medium-bodied; Assertive yeast and dry flavour with some herbs, strong but low alpha acid hops and a definite dry and floral element that is seemingly ever-present. Aftertaste shows a dry funk, a lot of the spicey belgian yeast and a good balance of dry malt and piney/earthy hops. Overall, a nicely balanced and well nuanced belgian style IPA with a good set of flavours and a decent complexity that shows nice elements - better than what I expected after seeing these ratings. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Washington (Logan Circle, P Street NW), DC on 03-September-2014 for US$8,99 sampled at home in Washington on 27-February-2015.

Very citrusy with a good dose of peel. Gold pour with good head and lacing. Very bitter, slightly astringent finish. Fizzy carbonation. A little too heavy on the peel element for me. Not very Belgian. Tap at brewpub.

Keg at Lost Rhino, 10/23/14. Pours a clear amber with a large creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of strong piney, herbal hops, pale malts, mild grass. The taste is herbal, earthy, piney hops, pale malt. Medium bodied, strong lingering bitterness, decent balance.

Had this at the NOVA Fall Brewfest. Poured a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Aroma was light fruits, some yeasty funk, touch of tart grapefruits. Flavor was yeasty, with some tropical fruit notes. Pretty tasty.
