We aged our premier hard cider in oak bourbon barrels to create this new Limited Edition style. Not overly oak-y, but rich and full of flavor from the heriloom apples that we pressed for this batch. A perfect hard cider for a cool day…or any day for that matter!

Not really getting oak in the nose. Maybe a touch of spirit. The base cider comes through nicely and Legacy is one of their better ones, IMHO. Excellent balance of acidity and sugar.
In the mouth it opens up as Legacy, but transitions in to a touch of oak followed by a rather raw, grainy, sharp, glue-like spirit character. Not sure what's going on here, but it's unpleasant and ruins the base. Dumped out most of my pint.
