A light mild brewed with Golden Promise & hopped with Goldings & First Gold - a style that has nearly disappeared from the U.K. with only one or two still in full time production - a delicious, historic, beer with the perfect balance of malt & hop flavours.

Handpull cask at the Embankment, West Bridgford, Nottingham. Light golden and clear with an uneven film of off-white head. Malty and slightly medicinal/astringent aroma. Sweet taste, malt and light bittering hops, some agave syrup. Slightly musty on the finish. Light body, little carbonation. A classic style with everything dialled down.
