22oz bomber from Pick’s poured into a Trappist glass. Pours a somewhat hazy dark nut brown with about a finger of off-white head. Very light aroma of caramel and a little grain. Taste is about the same. Lightly sweet, more lightly bitter. Taste of caramel and a little sugar. Medium bodied with a somewhat creamy yet kinda thin texture. Lively carbonation and a decently long finish. Overall, it’s not too bad. I’ll finish this bottle but probably won’t be buying it again.

Bomber from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours clear ruddy copper with a foamy/creamy beige head. Aromas of yeast, roast malt and chocolate. Med body;creamy carb. Flavor is there, then it’s sort of gone. When it’s there, it’s roast malt and a touch of chocolate. Yeast seems nearby. It’s pretty tasty, though difficult to break into specific aspects. It does seem to have finishing bitter, but remains more sweet than not.

22oz bottle-thanks jtclockwork for sharing-pours a tight foamy tan head and hazy dark amber color. Aroma is roasty/medium malt, chocolate, dry, hazelnut. Taste is roasty/medium malt, dark fruit, chocolate, dry, secondary spice/earthy hops.

22 oz bottle purchased at The Wine and Cheese Place in St Louis, Missouri. Pour is a hazed ruby brown with a one inch tan head. Breaks up and falls with nice lacing. Aroma is caramel malt, raisins and a flinty, almost smoky smell behind. Taste is the raisins, spice yeastiness, caramel malt and the edge of smokiness near the back and through the finish. Palate is medium bodied, nice natural carbonation and a pleasantly lingering aftertaste. Nice one.

Bottle from a generous trader. Shared with jcwattsrugger. Pours purplish brown. Nose of raisin, dark fruits, plum and cherry with some roasted chocolate. Taste follows suite. Medium bodied with some prune as well.

Bottle thanks to BA abrand. Poured a clear dark amber gold with a lasting tan head. Aroma was quite musty with sweet grains and a brown sugar. Flavor was also quite musty with a bread note and some underlying brown sugar.

On draught at Iron Barley in St. Louis. The beer is a brownish-amber color with medium light beige head that diminishes to an outer ring steadily. Thin spotty rings of lacing. Aroma of sweet malt and dark fruits. Medium body with flavors of bready malt, caramel and dark fruit. The finish is sweet up front with a lingering fruit and yeast aftertaste. Decent overall.
