Brewed for the 2012 Beer Advocate Belgian Beer Fest in Boston. BAM is an amber colored beer, brewed with both Honey and Rye malt. It was lightly hopped with a blend of Northern Brewer, Mt Hood and Czech Saaz. The beer had it's primary fermentation in stainless steel and then was transferred into barrels we got from two different mead makers: Artesano (VT) and Maine Mead Works (ME). The Mead barrels lend a chardonnay like nose, some tropical fruit character, honey and some toasted oak flavor. 9% ABV. Released September 2012.

Belgian Beer Fest Boston. Murky amber color, small tan head. Aroma of flowery brown bread dough. Taste starts with floral straw then sweet honet. Very nice.
