Dark brown color. Huge smokey, cheese and meat in the nose. Full bodied and huge smokiness. Not too sweet. Well balanced, tons of smoked cheese. A touch sour. Huge lingering smokey finish. I love this beer.

Draught. Red brown with white head. Smokey light aroma, pleasant. Flavour is smoked malt, did not seem that ’intense. but the smoke is there. Smoke finish that lasts a long time. They did not stint the wood

Bomber. Aroma is smoked bacon, pure awesomeness. Pours hazy dark amber-brown with a medium collapsing beige head. Taste is everything I want in a smoked beer. There’s not just a hint of smoke here like in a lot of examples of the style, this is a whole smoker jammed down your throat, filling all senses. Body could be fuller. Delicious!

Bomber pours clear copper with tan head. The aroma has thick malt sweetness, a bit of prune and date like esteriness and then smooth mild smokiness. The taste has sweet malts rolling quickly into a bit of sweet dark fruity esters and then ending with smooth, yummy, smoky and slightly bacony rauch maltiness. The smoke is on the light side making it a very approachable rauch beer but rather timid for the rauch beer hunter. I could use more rauch but I also enjoy how this level works in this beer.

Bottle at CaptainCougar’s local tasting, thanks! Kevin described the aroma perfectly - horse stable (but in a good way). Taste is sweet with campfire. Interesting.
