Tap. Pours hazy Amber, medium beige head, good lacing. Aroma is light, grassy, Bready, caramel, light nutty. Flavor is light plus sweet, light plus bitter. Malty and grassy. Medium body.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel, toasted malts, earthy hops. The taste matches. Medium bodied, well balanced.

Draft at the source. Clear yellow color, thick white head, solid lacing. Aroma of white pepper and dustry straw. Taste is peppery straw. Flavorful but light bodied.

Draft at the brewpub, July 2006. A slightly hazy orange beer with a thin orange head. The aroma has notes of butter and fruit. The flavor is acidic and sweet, with notes of caramel and butter, and the acidity burns slightly in the throat. The butter seems like a brewing flaw.
