Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen - Fuzzy orange pour with small white head. Sweet fruity and light malty with some resonating tropical citrus fruity notes of grapefruit, tangerine, mango, solid fruity hoppy finish. Lovely.

Flaska från boxbeer. Rejält disig smutsgul vätska med lågt vitt skum. Doft av nektar och välmogen tropisk frukt, mango, papaya. Visst slår en del alkohol igenom men annars är det farligt lättdrucket med massor av tropisk frukt och nektar en hel del diesel och stor men inte mördande resinbeska. Men trots allt mer maffig än god. Men då snackar vi riktigt maffig.

Bottle (11% ABV) from Cork & Cask. Hazy pale golden body with a thin white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of lemongrass, pine and furniture polish. Flavour of lemon and grass. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. It drinks well for the strength and is very tangy.

0.33l bottle from BarleyWine. I see now that it's almost half a year past its best before date this one.. Anyhow, it looks amazing in the glass. A almost glowing super warm golden amber colored mild cloudy one this with a small kinda islandy and sidesticking off-white head and tons and tons of small floaters and particles floating about in the glass. It smells like sweet tropical fruits, lots of sap and branches. A mighty aroma just oozing of power and hops. Nice! It tastes just as powerful as it smelled. In the mouth it's thick and syrupy while it's gently soft and only prickling on the carbonation. Warming and stingy. Sticky floating sweet caramel that has been added lots of exotic spices and hops. Slightly oxidized for sure. It's not directly fresh in the taste but it's a mighty tasting one this. Almost a little too much at times - at least if you're in a rush, but a fine fine sipper. 29.12.2015

Tap at Gambrinus. Big orange marmalade nose with notes of oak and honey. A very big barleywine-like nose. Feels heavy and fairly boozy, but it is a 12% triple IPA. Fairly sweet on the palate with tons of honey and orange marmalade on the finish. Quite warming. Well done for the style, just not my favorite style I guess.

330ml bottle. Murky amber colour with small to average, late awakening, thick, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Intense and complex, sweaty, almond malty and resinous hoppy, Dresdner Christstollen aroma, notes of sultan, raisin, candied orange peel, yeast cake, hints of asparagus and pineapple impregnated urine, a touch of raspberry vinegar. Taste is equally intense and complex, sweet, almond malty with hints of sugar powder, marzipan, Cointreau, pineapple, a touch of raspberry, hardly assertive hints of cedar wood / cigar box, lollipop sweetness, mango chutney resemblances, some marmalade as well, herbal interludes of mint and woodruff. Damn fucking complex, tempting though heavy and almost choking. Wherever sugariness threatens to resume power, herbal, citrusy, woody and / or spicy constituents offer resistance. A tremendous, tacky, tickle Monster.

Whats Brewing 2014. Golden -orange colour with an off-white head. Aroma is pine, alcohol, caramel, grapefruit. Flavour is is sweet, alcohol, malt, hop, sugar, caramel, grapefruit. Full body. Nice beer.
