Lovejoy draught, 8/1/26.
Deep, woodsy hop mixing with pear and a touch of bubblegum. Pretty well wedded, the hop and yeast. No alcohol noted. The last time I had this series the malt was too thin and crusty and the yeast too crude. I'm not convinced that's not the case again here.
Tons of pear with a pine-and-pepper hop character. Alternating soft and biscuit malt structure is leaner but still supportive and nicely dry on the end. No clove or banana here which is fantastic. Wow...Night Shift is BACK, BABY (No, not really, I can't back that up).
