KEUN Tripel Saison is zoals de naam aangeeft een kruising tussen een tripel en een saison, en extra hoppig door de dry hopping: wat citrus en abrikoos in de neus, een beetje peper, een volle en bittere smaak, een fluwelen mondgevoel en een lange nasmaak met een verfrissend zuurtje. De blonde KEUN heeft een alcoholpercentage van 7,5% en is gebrouwen met vier moutsoorten (pilsmout, tarwemout, Münchener en pale mout), drie hopvariëteiten (Fuggles, East Kent Goldings, Cascade), twee kruiden en witte kandijsuiker. Dat levert een harmonieus droog en dorstlessend biertje op.

Bottle at home. A bit unclear orange golden color, full sized rough white head. Aroma is malts, typical saison yeasty, light tart notes mixed with orangepeel, farmhouse aroma. Flavor is a bit tart-sweet with herbal yeasty influences. After warming up a while there's even a sort of floral sweetish note. Medium body and decent to medium carbonation that suits the beer well. Quite ok.

F: big, white, good retention. C: blonde, hazy. A: malty, bit spicy, grassy, orange peels, yeasty. T: malty, vaguely fruity, dry grassy, bit funky, peach, bit yeasty, medium body and carbonation, good, refreshing, sample @ Winters Bier Festival 2017 in Waregem.

Sample @ the brewery. Hazy golden colour, white foam. Fruity nose: citrus, stone fruit. Light bitterness. Some spices. Bit sourness in the aftertaste. Refreshing beer. Good.

05/08/2016 - 33cl bottle @De Zwarten Engel, Etikhove. Hazy dark yellow, with large white foam. Nose is fruits, yeast, spice. Taste is first lots of fruit, then lots of bitterness, a bit sweetness, ending with a spicy touch. Nice

Bottled@HBF2016. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, nutty, mildly alcoholic as well as toffeeish notes. Flavour is sweet malts, fruits, alcohol, some yeast, mild toffee as well as some wooden notes as well.

Pale blond with thin head. Quite some herbal notes in the aroma. Flavour is complex with bitter citrus peel, yeasty spiciness and a dry hoppy finish.

Hazy medium golden colour, tall and loose frothy white head, collapsing quickly, patchy lacing. Aroma pale malts, fruity (pear, light banana), yeast. Taste medium sweet and bitter, grainy, yeasty, spicy notes, with average duration, bitter spicy finish, dusty. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, rather sharp taste.

Bit cloudy orange beer, big aery off-white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, pineapple, yeast, banana. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very fruity start, pretty bitter, some tropical fruit. Aftertaste: fruity, some banana, pretty yeasty, grassy, grains, some citrus, little spicy finish.
