Sampled draft @ ZBF 2015. Hazy orange, little white head. Nose is very sweet wheat, lots of sugar, coriander is thick as well. Lightly fizzy body. This sweet wheat taste with lots of sugar, sweet lemon, coriander, quite yeasty. Okay. (Thx! for sharing people!)

Witbier from Nieuwkerken-Waas near Sint-Niklaas. Creamy, yellowish white head, cloudy yellow blonde colour with the typical greenish hue. Aroma of light citrus, wheat, grass, coriander, sour cream, cloves. Fruity and wheaty taste with the expected coriander accent, mellow, bitterish finish more so than usual for this style, unfortunately a bit phenolic as well.

Small yellowish head over fully hazy straw-yellow beer. Meaty-yeasty noe with (lightly smoked) ham, but also banana and clove. Overall aroma as some German Sauerkraut dish. Sourish-wheaty taste, again banana/clove/orange, as a German Hefeweizen. Finish is citrussy. Quite carbonated. Beer feels as if it is still in full fermentation, lagertank fashion, if for the carbonation. Too young by half, unsatisfying as such.

14/VIII/2012 - 33cl bottle from the brewer @ home - BB: n/a - (2012-821)
Note: poured with the yeast, as it is a witbier.
Very cloudy beige beer, towering solid off-white to yellowish head, very stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: bit metallic, spicy, coriander, bit grassy, oranges, little chemical. MF: ok carbon, medium body, soft creamy texture. Taste: pretty spicy, coriander, bit dusty and dry, chemical bitterness, somewhat lemony, little sweet. Aftertaste: more chemical bitterness, coriander, spicy, dry feeling in the mouth after drinking, as if cotton in your mouth.
