This one poured a slightly hazy, deep red colour with a creamy off white head. Nice lacing. Scents include sweet malt syrup, nuts, beef gravy? and a wee bit of ripe fruit. First swig was nice and smooth and not as sweet as expected. Flavours of tea, toasted malt, nuts and minimal hops. Finish is malty with toast and nut flavours lingering.
