One of Bluejacket's first signature beer, the Sidewalk Saison, timed perfectly to remedy the scorching dog days of summer. Brewed at Iron Hill Brewery in West Chester PA, the Sidewalk Saison is a traditional Belgian Saison with black pepper, coriander, lemon and orange peels, as well as some local violet wood sorrel foraged by Chef Kyle Bailey.

Sampled at Churchkey during CBC week. Pours a clear orange with tons of white head. Nose of a tripel, candy sugar, tropical fruit, clove, bubble gum. Flavor is overly sweet, cotton candy, sugar, spice, malt, banana. Full bodied, sweet finish. Seems a bit under attenuated.

Draft at Churchkey. Clear golden color, small white head. Aroma of slightly dusty straw. Taste is citrus and hay with scant funk and a bitter finish.
