A light haze on this orange beer, good pale cream colour head. Airy palate, getting on for semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Malts are smooth, trace of natural grain and bring a modest sweetness. The Bramling Cross hops taste more like Fuggles to me, not delivering much berry goodness, more a mellow Fuggles ripe orange. It's not particularly bitter either. It's clean and drinkable but, unfortunately the title of the beer is self descriptive.

Cask at the brewery taproom bermondsey. A translucent golden amber coloured pour with a fine off white head. Aroma is spicy nettle, wood, powdered chocolate?, nutty toasted malts.. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, fine cask condition. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, drying grains, grain husks, nutty, toasted, light chocolate note, spicy hop, spicy hop, woody brambles. Not the Bramling cross I remember.
