Cask at the cock tavern Hackney. A clear dark mahogany brown coloured pour with reddy hues and a loose kahki head. Aroma is sweet malt loaf, dried fruits, rum and raisin, layered malts, cakey malts. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, sticky brandy snap sugars, cakey malts, tangy dried fruits, raisin. Lovely malt layers. Palate is medium. Sweet Sticky mellow carbonation. Light tangy bite in the finish. Nice.

Fra cask på The Cock Tavern: brunsvart med fint skum som varer. Supermyk og sjarmerende med laaang ettersmak. Kaffe, mørke chokolader osv osv. Harrliga London!

Pours black with a thin tan head. Loads of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, dark treacle, dried fruit and molasses. Lovely and easy drinking even in the summer. Leaves a roasty, chocolate and fruit cake aftertaste. Right in my wheelhouse this one.
