This style gets its very literal name from the large percentage of wheat used as well as the cloudy appearance created by leaving yeast in the beer. The yeast we use gives the classic banana and clove flavors characteristic to the style.

27/IX/19 - on tap @ Borefts Day 1, BB: n/a - (2019-1606) Thanks to the international RateBeer Crew for sharing today's beers!
Pretty clear orange to blond beer, bit creamy white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: dirty, grains, malty, boring. Lacking the typical banana for me... MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: bit watery, yeast, soft acidity, bit fruity, meh. Aftertaste: little bitter, very yeasty.

pours a slightly hazy yellow with a quickly falling white head. A bit of spice on the nose but I’m not getting any banana or clove. The flavor is mildly sweet with a touch of banana that i was looking for in the aroma. Generally Us brewed hefe - weizens are better than their German counterparts simply due to freshness, but this one isn’t going to give the imports much competition. No real faults just very plain.

22 ounce bottle from Bestway in Greensboro, NC. Pours a hazy lemon yellow color with a medium frothy head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of yeast, flour, clove and a slightly acrid note. The taste is bread, caramel, spice and some light banana notes. Medium bodied.
