Root and Peak is a hugely flavourful hazy IPA, brewed in collaboration with the talented team at Arbor. They made the journey from their Bristol HQ to join us in Bakewell to create something truly special. A generous blend of New World hops delivers vibrant tropical fruit aromas and flavours from the very first sip. Pouring a bright light gold with a shimmering haze, it offers a soft, pillowy mouthfeel balanced by a gentle bitterness. The elevated ABV brings a subtle warming character, adding depth and complexity to this smooth, expressive IPA.

Tap. Sheffield Tap. Hazed yelllw gold. Frothy white head stays the course. Nose has gummy bear sweets. Pineapple. Sticky drizzle cake. Actually smells sweet. Taste, unsurprisingly, is sweet. Too sweet in fact, for me. There’s some bitterness but it’s way at the back and doesn’t kick in soon enough. Feels sticky overall. Bit heavy going. Nah. Struggled with a half.
