This beer is a clear gold color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of doughy malt and fruit. Light body with flavors of sweet malt, fruit and grain. Slight vegetal quality at times. The finish is short and malty with a slight fruit aftertaste. Below average overall.

A golden lager with a thin white head. In aroma, a rather off creamed corn and mashed green peas. In mouth, a crisp malt with some faint German hops, and off notes. On tap at PA Flavor, April 9th, 2011.

Clear golden coloured yellow body with a one centimetre tall white head that dissolves fast and shows a few small bubbles rising wildly to the top. Aroma of corn, light malt, rice, grass and a bit of metal. Light-bodied; Sharp metallic flavour at first with some odd malt tastes of rice and cardboard. A touch of maltiness on the aftertaste with some corn and odd funkiness at the end. Overall, not such a great beer, but not absolutely horrible. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Market Cellars in Reston, Virginia on 11-December-2010, sampled at home in Washington on 16-December-2010.

Bottle. Beer of the month club. Clear golden color with a medium, slowly-diminishing white head. Aroma of some bready/crackery malt, light graininess, corny and sugary notes and some subtle hoppiness. Sweetish malty flavor, a bit too sweet, with some graininess and a slightly drier finish. Light to medium-bodied. Drinkable but nothing more

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a vibrant golden color with a huge soapy yellow-white head that lingered and produced some lacing. The aroma was sweet and malty with undertones of must and chalk. The flavor was dryish and malty with touches of cardboard, chalk and must and a light vague tangy fruitiness underneath. The finish was medium length dryish and tangy. Medium body. Eh.

Location: Updating this rating with a draft sampling from the Brewpub, Harrisburg location, 6/13/10

Overall Impression: Not much to add rating stays the same, and the descrition was pretty spot on previously...Basically the same on draft as it was bottled.

October 2009 Beer of the Month Club, 11/8/09

Aroma: Light aroma of grains, corn, and a drop of citrus hops
Appearance: Pours a clear, light golden color with almost no head
Flavor: Grainy flavor, light hops and a not so nice corny aftertaste
Palate: Its pretty carbonated, light body, but it does have a crisp mouthfeel
Overall Impression: This beer is a pretty boring light lager. Not much else to say about it beyond that. The aftertaste distracts from it a bit, the palate is pretty decent for the style, but other then that nothing stands out on this one.
