This blend of English-style Barleywines was aged between 18-24 months in a variety of premium bourbon barrels before being finished in freshly-dumped Eagle Rare casks. A slightly fortified malt structure provides just enough sweet lift on the palate to accommodate the added lumber and spirit, without stealing the show.

Can. Pours hazy chestnut, medium fizzy tan head, dissipates to minimal residual. Aroma is treacle, dark sugars, bourbon, vanilla, oak, brandy. Flavor is medium sweet, light bitter. Medium body. Really good, as would be expected.
