12oz bottle. I like the concept, and I like the final product. Unfiltered amber-brown body. Thin beige head. Medium bodied. Very drinkable, but a respectable depth and balance. Has a mild soapy hop bite, but the doughy malts are quite nice, and don't come off so one dimensional. Good stuff.

12oz bottle, courtesy of gregwilsonstl, pours with a deep amber colored body that supports a thin tan head. The aroma offers up a bit of nuttiness and then a mineral sensation heading quickly into sweet malts and a dash of chocolate malts. The taste quickly attains a pleasing roastiness with dark roasted malts, roasty earthy tobacco like malts and then a thin burnt malt note. To midway the sweeter malts and chocolate make a move forward adding a nice counter to the roastiness. This comes together nicely. Fun brown.

Received in trade from gregwilsonstl, thanks for the opportunity! Pours a dark copper almost brown color with a huge frothy beige head that persists forever. Big caramel and toasted malt with a hint of chocolate and a touch of earthy hop to counter. The flavor adds some dark dried fruits as well. Pretty good brown ale.

Bottle at home deep brown pour. Nose is caramel and some malt and nuts. Tastes of caramel, chocolate, peanut skin, malt, cola, some earthy bitterness. Easy drinking and pleasant. Straight up decent brown ale.

Bottle. Aroma is roasty malts with hints of chocolate, fruit and yeast. Appearance is very dark brown--virtually opaque with dark amber at edges of the glass. Nice, fluffy finger-width beige head with good retention and nice lacing. Taste is mainly mild sweet with yeast qualities and roastiness with pleasant mild bitter finish. Palate is light bodied with creamy smooth texture, minimal carbonation. Overall, a rich beer without feeling too thick or filling.

Pours a clear, dark, reddish brown-black, with good-sized head. Fresh aroma, with some floral notes, some hops, maybe a bit of soap. Flavor contains all of these, with some malt, coffee, chocolate. Almost verging over into porter or stout territory, this one.

12 oz. bottle thanks to GrandaddyKC. Nice brown color, roasted nut and caramel aroma. Flavor is a solid brown. Toastedgrain, mild caramel, mild English toffee, light shoe leather notes. Medium in body, sweet finish. Relatively standard for the style but well made.
