A- Black color, black liquid, no head.

A- Fudge, nutty, mild roast, rotten damp wood.

F- Peanut butter, fudge, oak, faint whisky.

T- Full body, thick texture, average carbonation, complex finish.

O- Wow, despite a touch of age this was smooth and unexpectedly creamy. Almost had a Reese's like flavor despite no adjuncts. There is a significant nutty fudge flavor with a touch of oak. A solid beer and one of the best Single Barrels from White Elm that I've had. Barrel really shines through only at the finish. There is a weird wanky rotten aroma that appeared as it warmed that's pretty awful. Not sure what it is but if it wasn't for that this would be top notch.
