Incredibly smooth, this ale is truly a phenomenon in taste. This American Style IPA is brewed with a lighter grain bill which allows the various Yakima Valley hops to shine. Bubblejack IPA is also dry-hopped prior to packaging for an added hop aroma.

Draft. Clear golden yellow color, thick white head, delicate lacing. Aroma of pine and pineapple. Taste has pine and tropical fruit in a bit of an odd combo that grows on you.

Pours a hazy, golden yellow. Some floral and hop aromas. Flavor is full of hop bitterness, with not much else to balance. Not the greatest IPA.

12 oz. bottle courtesy of Tripplebrew. Notch on label has APR, Wk 2. Used a shaker. Massive head and retention. ( spider web lacing ) Nose of malt and citrus hop. The malt gives it a biscuit, dough like quality. This is on the sweeter side for an IPA. And I like that attribute. This could be an everyday drinker, (if I lived in Wisconsin.) Nice.

Bottle: Pours a hazy straw color with a golden tint. One of the largest heads on a brew I’ve seen in a while... Fluffy and off-white, huge amounts of sticky lacing. Mellow aroma is citrus and florals, some sweetness. Really quite mild. Taste comes through strong in hops, again citrus and florals. A sweet, underlying fruitiness before a syrupy and resinlike hops takeover. Finishes with lingering floral bitters. Behind the mild nose there is solid flavor here. Damn, the emptier the pint, the better it gets...

12oz bottle. Cloudy golden orange-yellow color. Crisp hoppy aroma with some caramel sweetness. Earthy and bitter, with some soapy tones. Quite light and easy drinking in some ways, reminiscent of a British IPA or Bitter. The wheat addition manages to keep it real smooth and clean. Has a slightly odd finish, which makes me question how old the bottle is. Some lemon and butterscotch nuances make it a tad different than your typical IPA. Sort of like an aggressively bitter, thin bodied APA, with a cool, crisp bite. Grows on you, OK IPA.
