On tap at the Roseville location. Pours a very deep gold with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of straw and bread with a bit is hay and grain underlying. Flavor has sweet bread and straw notes with a hint of biscuit supporting.

Draft: Poured a copper color with a white head. Aroma is malt. Taste is a weird blend of sour and malt, unlikely result from the blending of the two base beers.

Sampler at GC Rockford. 4oz I think? Pours amber with minimal head. Aroma of malt and caramel. Taste is light sweet. Malt and caramel. With a slight hint of hops. Light bodied and thin textured. Lively carbonation and no finish. Overall, this is shit. It reminds me of when I was a kid and, since we were only allowed one glass a day, we would add water to Kool-Aid to make it last longer. Glad this is just a sample.

Tap. Toffee malt and bitter grass aroma. Amber color with small head. Sweet toffee malt and lightly bitter hay flavor. Pretty good - nicely drinkable.

Sample at the Creve Coeur, MO brewpub. The beer is a copper-briwn color with a thin light beige head that recedes quickly. Stringy lacing on the glass. Mild earthy malt aroma with notes of caramel and corn. Light body with flavors of sweet caramel malt and mild hops. The finish is short and sweet malt. Overall the brewer is basically taking 2 mediocre beers and somehow making them even less appealing.

tap - Wickster nailed this one already. It’s a mix of a poor beer and a mediocre one. The result is of course somewhere in between. The bock definitely carries the flavor as their Northern Light is far too mild to contribute much. This brew is sweet, light bodied, and easily downed. Note: in my experience this beer was not blended by the brewers. The bartender just pulled two tap handles.
