Our lightest beer, the beer appears yellow with a slight cloudiness and is topped by a rich white head. The Wag’s Wheat has a bread like flavor from the malted wheat, backed by citrus undertones. Our interpretation of the American Wheat beer style is light and very refreshing to drink. For additional refreshment try adding a slice of lime or lemon to the beer.

Draft from GC Rockford. Pours a cloudy gold with minimal head. Aroma of wheat and cereal grains. Taste is lightly sweet. Mostly wheat with some grain. Light bodied with a thin texture. Lively carbonation and an average finish. Overall, it’s ok but not something I would get again.

draft at Ft Wayne location - Pours slightly hazy yellow with an ample head. There’s a mild, grainy malt aroma. The flavor is sweet with mostly grainy malt and a little bit of wheat, but the light, grainy malt really dominates it. There’s a touch of bitterness in the finish, but it’s not good bitterness, rather it’s more of a hint of stale hop. Light and thin bodied, this beer is just not good.

Sample at the Creve Coeur, MO brewpub. The beer pours a clear yellow color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly. Large sticky patches of lacing. Touches of citrus and wheat in the nose. Light body with flavors of wheat, citrus and sweet malt. Mild hops in the background as well. The finish is clean and wheaty with a short fruity aftertaste. Just average overall.
