Crisp golden coloured body with a thin, barely existent off-white head. Aroma of bananas, yeast, alcohol, bubble gum and a tiny bit of sugars and coriander seed. Light to Medium-bodied; Glossy and nicely layered flavour of wheat, grass, yeast, coriander seed, curacao, full citrus and a subtle clove and spice note near the end, as well. Aftertaste is robust with a good deal of spices, some sugars and a smooth and flavorful yeast and wheat texture that the look wouldn’t suggest, but is great for the style. Overall, a very nice tasting beer with a good profile and nice complexity, but the look isn’t so hot - that said, a beer still worth searching out for, especially as it’s still a touch warm here in summer. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia 17-May-2015 for US$9,79 / six pack sampled at home in Washington on 16-September-2015.
