This revised recipe keyed on using current ingredients and techniques. Pungent Columbus and piney Simcoe combine with citrusy Chinook and Cascade to provide big hop aroma and flavor. Hops are added during fermentation and the body is kept low to maximize hop presence.

On Tap at the Brewpub (the oaked version on the "beer engine") Served on a tulip, deep orange amber with a dense lasting off-white head and heavy lacing coating the glass. Nice mostly piney hop aroma, The warmer temp and the oak, makes for a mellow, soft warm flavor. Significant vanilla and soft woody notes. The oak doesn’t come through like a tree branch, more like a soft blanket of woodiness that just calms everything down. Carbonation is a bit soft, of course that lends to the effect. Interesting.

On tap. Pours out a orange/amber topped with awhite head. Aroma was of citrus, pine, and some sweetness. Taste was more of the nice hop mix along with some caramel malt notes.

Had at MBBF in Idaho Falls
Cloudy golden with a white head. Citrus and grapefruit makes for a very nice and easy drinking IPA. Clean
