Bottle. Nearly black with a tiny tan head. Alcohol, chocolates, and coffee in the nose. Roasted barley - slightly smoky, slightly rubbery. Reminds me a bit of a pinotage in the smokiness/rubberiness (I happen to enjoy a good pinotage, so this is a plus for me).

Bottle shared at a tasting at Vova’s place. Better Beer Of The Month Club. Black with a tan head. Aroma of lots of coffee, cocoa, roasted grains and a bit of drier dark fruits. Roasty flavor, slightly sweetish, slightly smoky, with coffee, some chocolate and a drier finish. Medium-bodied, slightly creamy oatmeal mouthfeel. A nice one.

First chance for me to try an offering from this brewer, and as a stout lover I give this a solid thumbs up. Espresso colored with thin tan head, aroma not prominent. Cocoa overtones, bitter but not unpleasant finish.

Bottle: Poured a black color ale with a rather large foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of rich roasted malt notes with a side of black chocolates. Taste is also dominated by some roasted malt with a side of black chocolate. Body is quite full with good carbonation. Not the most complex beer but well enjoyable with good balance between the flavours and good drinkability.
