Draft @ Dunedin Brewery.

Poured up on tap at the Dunedin brewpub with clear gold body and bright white head. The aroma offers up sweet honey and mead like notes with lesser amounts of mild chemical booze. Seems bragget like. The taste is rich with yummy smooth honey goodness starting with hints of malts quickly rolling into firm honey notes that seem to be nuanced with sweet citrus flavored hard candy along with sweetened floral hops and spicy hops. These notes are really hitting the spot right now. That core of sweet citrus and touch of floral amidst the smooth sweet honey is tasting great. It manages an English Barleywine like sensation from time to time with its smooth sweetness and slick malts and seemingly sweet estery fruitiness. I want to put this on my toast and in my coffee in the morning. Well done. That is some tasty local honey!
