Poured from a 16 oz can dated July 27, 2026.
Aroma is hop forward and fruity with lots of stone fruit, light tropical fruit, some guava, citrus and grapefruit. Lighter dank, oily pine resin notes. Light cracker malt and alcohol notes.
Pours a fairly clear, yellow-gold with a large, thick, fluffy, white head that recedes slowly to the edges where it lingers in clumps. Medium lacing and faint legs.
Flavor has a medium light sweetness and light cracker malt notes. Medium strong bitterness and light alcohol notes. Fairly strong hop notes with lots of stone fruit and guava up front. More grapefruit pith, citrus and dank, oily pine resin in the finish.
Mouthfeel is medium light bodied and crisp with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a solid pale ale. Fairly fruity hop notes in the aroma and upfront in the flavor. Assertive, lingering bitterness in the finish with classic Simcoe hop character. Crisp, dry mouthfeel makes this pretty crushable. Alcohol is well hidden.
