Original version of this beer, brewed in 2012 as Chimay 150 to mark the brewery's 150th anniversary, initially as a limited edition of 150,000 bottles. It has since become a permanent part of the brewery's product range.

Chimay 150 is a strong, refined, and refreshing blond beer featuring a balanced flavor profile, a floral aroma, and notes of dried fruit and spices. It has an alcohol content of 10%. It is produced using a blend of two hop varieties—Saaz and Hallertau Mittelfrüh—both renowned for their exceptional quality and finesse. Its unique taste also stems from a secret spice added to the recipe.
