Bottle. Spicy Belgian yeast aroma with notes of floral hops, dried fruit, banana, clove and coriander. Pours cloudy golden colored with a large white head that has excellent retention and good lacing. Starts with dried fruit, banana and clove flavors. Finishes smooth and dry with floral hops, coriander and spicy Belgian yeast flavors as well as some warming booze at the very end. Excellent.

Small fat green labeled bottle "Blonde Forte" "Strong Blond" also the 150 bottom right. bbf 2026. seems like the green label might becoming part of the standard ones they have, I see it all over these days.

aroma is Belgian yeasts, flowers, the yeasty notes are very smooth and bready, bit wild, but tempered, aroma in general is sweet malty and flowery with a good dose of dough like yeastiness. surprisingly good.

flavor has a lot of belgian yeastiness flavors, but tempered and rounded and really well integrated, also herbs, flowers, a hint of sweet exotic fruits, end is yeasty and with a bit of a bitter triple like hop kick.
very well rounded tripel, does not come off as industrial , more like a really well done trappist tripel. i am quite positively surprised.

Optisch helles Gold im Glas, in der Nase leichte Frucht, hefig, Getreide. Im Trunk blumig, bittersweet, Malz, vielleicht etwas Honig, dezent alkoholisch. Erinnert mich etwas an ein starkes Helles. Passt.

getrunken als Chimay Blonde Forte Ein Blonde, das wie der Name schon sagt, stärker ist und seine Aromen erst richtig entfaltet, wenn es wärmer wird. Dann lösen sich aus dem alkoholischen Grund schöne Gewürznoten nach Zimt, Koriander, Nelken und Oragenzeste heraus und man bekommt ein angenehm rundes Trinkgefühl. Kann man wirklich empfehlen.

Bottle at home. Pours opaque golden with a thick, frothy white head. Nose is intensely spicy, somewhat citric, estery. Taste is sweet, no surprises there, showing spices, candi, esters, some booze obviously. The alcohol presence sometimes hits hard, but in general it's easy to forget this is double digits ABV wise. The finish is sweet and warming, somewhat boozy and pretty spicy. Medium bodied with average (for the style, that is) to high carbonation. It's fairly spicy all in all, which keeps in interesting but it also becomes too overwhelming by the end.
