22 oz bottle poured into a Spiegelau tulip. Hazy brownish orange with a finger of rapidly fading beige head. Aromas of juicy cherries, bourbon, dark fruit, a bit of spice, a little funkiness. Tastes of cherries, dark fruit, light bourbon, spices, a little vegetal note. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Doesn’t mesh well for me with the bourbon and cherries, especially as it warms up.

Draft. Hazy light maroon color, massive tan head, but as the first glass from the keg. Solid lacing. Aroma of brown fruitcake and whiskey. Taste is smooth and sweet brown bread, cherries, vanilla. Lighter body than the base and most dubbels. Bourbon is subtle, as I like it. Tasty.
