On tap at the source in Seattle-USA. Semi clear copper pour, off-white foam with lacing. Nose: perceivable baked chestnuts, nothing more. Mouth: watery, sweet syrup, clean somehow but not my cup of tea. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. Clear maroon, thick tan head, solid lacing. Aroma of milk chocolate. Taste starts sweet then has s nice bitter balance with grass and light pine. Decent.

Medium brown colour. Not much head. Mild aroma mixes nuts and caramel. Light bodied, a little toasty and a little nutty. Finishes reasonably dry. Decent brown ale, with no real chestnut character. (the ones in Europe don’t have it either).
