Sample from cask at Birch And Barley/Churchkey. Clear dark golden color with a medium white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of toasted malt, fruit and hops. Light-bodied with flavors of earthy malt, caramel and fruity hops. The finish is sweet with an herbal hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

4 oz cask pour at Mad Fox. Clear straw yellow with off-white head. Aromas of bready notes, floral notes, citrus fruit and peel. Tastes of citrus, floral notes, light hops. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Low carbonation. Simple but refreshing.

On cask at the brewery. Dry hopped with HBC 342. Pours a clear gold with some very thin, white head. Nose was very pleasant, a really interesting white grape character which must be from the dry hopping, a little honeydew, some grass, some malt. Flavor is lightly sweet, mild honey, a little melon. Clean finish. I think the HBC 342 had a nice impact on this.

Location: Cask at the Brewpub, 6/10/11

Aroma: The nose is fairly subtle, it has some light fruity and sweet notes to it
Appearance: It pours a cloudy golden color, with basically no head or lace
Flavor: It has a pretty solid flavor to it, some yeast, fruity notes, and a slight spice presence
Palate: It kind of has that typical cask feel to it, it is light bodied, smooth, drinkable, and fairly clean
Overall Impression: This is a beer that I enjoyed drinking. It was something that I wasn't really expecting too much from, and it surprised me in a positive way. A really solid and enjoyable offering.
