Brewed in collaboration with the Beer Advocate crew for the 2011 Beer Advocate Belgian Beer Fest. This golden ale has an aroma of biscuit malt and citrus fruit, coupled with the flavor of grapefruit rind. Its grassy bitterness makes way for a dry, clean finish. Released September 2011.

Draught from Blind Tiger. Pours a very clear gold, aroma is floral and hps, overall quite amazingly good, clean finish.

Orange flesh and lemon zest aroma. Cloudy yellow, medium head, good lacing. Dry lemon zest flavor, but sweeter toward the end. Light bodied and well hopped. Pretty simple, but tasty. I would have never guessed Allagash made it as it doesn’t taste remotely like anything else they make.

Pours hazy gold into a tulip. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes leaving sheet lacing. Yeast aromas. Sweet bread and hay upfront turning hoppy in the lasting finish.

A hazed blonde ale with a thin creamy white head. In aroma, nice citrusy malt with honey, like sweet Halls candies. In mouth, a beautiful grassy citrusy hops, lingering, crisp malt. Beautiful quaffer. On tap at Belgian Beer Fest, Sept 10 2011.
