Hazy golden color, thick tan head, solid lacing. Aroma of grass, flowers, light pine. Taste is moderately bitter lightly spiced pine resin. Nice.

Courtesy of douglas88 pouring up clear copper to light brown with tan head. The aroma is all coconut, bourbon and a bit of vague spiciness. The taste starts with a mix of soured beer tartness and spicy oak that doesn’t go too well together. It then picks up a modest level of roasted maltiness, sweet coconut and then more smooth bourbon into the finish. The smooth sweetness is then interrupted by more tart and sour beer notes and sort of a rye booze mixing with a red wine tart quality. Interesting and at odds with itself.

Sampled from 22oz bottle that apparently came straight from the brewery. Poured a dark caramel color with a small off-white head. Aroma was strong distinct malty notes, with a slight sweetness to it. Robust, strong malt characteristics worked their way though as I consumed this one. Pretty good.

3oz pour at Max’s is a hazy, nut brown with some thin white head. Nose is sweet, honey, a little bourbon, oranges. Flavor is sweet, caramel, vanilla, a little boozy, cookie dough, orange zest. Full bodied, warming finish. Really nice.
