Celeste DIPA

We brewed this double IPA to showcase Celeste hops, a variety recently developed by West Coast hop breeders and grown by B&D farms in Oregon. Il Giro is a collaboration with hop distributor @charlesfaram , and we had a great time brewing this up with our pal @likethelion .This beer is light in colour and low in malt flavour to really let these hops shine! The higher alcohol content of a DIPA helps extract those tasty flavour compounds that a lower alcohol beer can’t. We hope you enjoy this one!

473 ml can. Pours a bright amber with moderate head. Aromas of pine, resin, pineapple, stoned fruit, and soft toasty malts. Flavors of bready malts, soft pine, a bit of lemons, and a bit of passionfruit. Great nose, but for me a little soft on the delivery. Overall very nice though and a beer Beva should consider as a core.

473mL can, pours a clear golden orange with a large white head. Aroma has tons of tropical fruits, melon, resinous hops, a touch of pine, and a big caramel malt base. Flavour is super juicy and tropical, with massive juicy tropical stone fruits, with melon, light resins, a touch of citrus, pine, and a moderate malty backbone. Super bright, juicy and tropical finish, with low-to-moderate bitterness. Almost more east coast with all that tropical juiciness and lower bitterness, but without the chalky, oaty nonsense that ruins the clarity as in hazies. Excellent.
