100% Michigan malt. 100% Michigan-grown hops. The ingredients of Harvest Ale directly reflect our interest in local agriculture and tradition.

The malt came from barley grown a farm near Shepherd Michigan, while the hops are sourced from our neighbors in nearby Hickory Corners, Hop Head Farms and from the MILocal Growing Cooperative in Williamsburg. The 2017 batch of Harvest Ale was dry-hopped twice and has a distinct ripe fruit and grapefruit hop presence.

Michigan-grown malt has a distinctive candied apple character that pairs well with the mixture of grassy and fruity hop aromas, yielding a very drinkable celebration of the harvest.

Cloudy orange with no head. Light fruit and hops in the aroma. Flavor of a medium bodied ipa, I am surprised to see it classified as an ale. Sour finish. I had this on tap and later found out it is all but impossible to find. I wonder if there was something wrong with mine. I don't understand why everyone else is rating this so highly.
