Backlog entry pours from flip top growler. Pours out golden topped with a white head. Nose is citrus hops some tropical fruit notes and a light sweet malt. Taste is more of the nice fruit hops sweet caramel malts with ripe tropical fruit.

Draft Three Penny Tap Room. Perfect looking unfiltered gold with thick, foamy head. Retention the entire way down. Great nose, smells of bags and bags of wet fresh hops, intense fruit (citrus grapefruit and lemon)Β  Taste is much the same with a hearty bread malt as the backbone. Medium in body with amazingly drinkable. Drinks like an easy Pale ale. Not in your face over the top. But it is in your face... If that make any sense. I don’t realize it was over 9% ABV until I was finished with the glass. So flavorful I finished it rather quickly.Β  The finish is dry bitterness and lingers for a good amount after. Find this on draft. They hit a home run with this DIPA!Β

On tap at Three Penny Taproom. Paid $8 and served in a wine goblet. Freaking gorgeous beer! Insanely cloudy and bright orange appearance. 3 finger head solid white. Fades slowly to a single finger with amazingly perfect head lacing. It looks like a freakinf creamsicle. Columbus and Citra. Pine and grapefruit. Lemon and champagne. Light level of tannins. Okay. I knew Shaun had an imperial IPA in him. I had no idea it would be this remarkable. Gigantic grapefruit taste. Lemon peels and pine resin at the finish. The taste is gigantic but the mouthfeel is light and airy. Floral and a bit of cedar but very light. High carbonation at 90% on the mouth swish. If you can find this beer, grab a bottle.

750mL growler, sent from my man Glouglouburp (thanks Dany!), pour a beautiful cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma screams tropical fruits (mango, pineapple, tangerine), grapefruit, loads of resinous and piney hops, balanced by sufficient caramel malt. Flavour is intensely flavourful, with mounds of tropical fruits (as mentioned), orange / grapefruit rind, loads of citrusy, resinous and piney hops, and lots of caramel malt to balance, offering a perfect amount of sweetness to counterbalance the intense fruitiness and hoppiness. Finishes fruity and hoppy, with a bit of earthy character and sort of an oily feel. Once again, Hill Farmstead have churned out an amazing double IPA. This is just delicious.

Growler muled by oteyj, thanks! Cloudy golden color, huge fluffy white head. Intense pine aroma. Taste is very bitter pine resin and bread. Too bitter for my taste.
