Clear 750ml via an alternate in their cider club. Sometimes there's a lot of repeats & if it's not something super undervalued, I just can't have that. Saw this down the alt list & it was never offered when it came out, so let's do it.
Lo-ball glass at home after chilling for a few weeks in the basement fridge.
Pale amber, settled/disgorged clarity, thin ring of lace that would rather not be there.
Browned bittersharps, old cherry, false oak, crabby floral funk & accompanying citrus pith nose; inviting but maybe too mild overall.
Red table grapes, rich & snappy/red/sharp eating apples. Slightly buttery underneath it all with some honey-orange zing on the tail. Maraschino cherry. Half sweet & probably too sweet but lots of tart contrast. Love crabs but this one is a little syrupy.
This would have killed at 9.5% & dryyyyyyyy.
