Caramel, toffee, rounded out by the barrel, with moderately spicy, nutty rye character from the spirit. A bit earthy, not boozey. Little/no smoke. Inviting, if not overly barrel-forward.
Soft, chewy, caramel-forward with moderate rye barrel spice. Pretty heavily attenuated leaving the finish dry, rather woody and full of strong rye spirit. No alcohol noted. Pretty old school.
