On tap in a flight at the brewery. Nice, brownish, orange color, with some fine, beige remnants of a head. Pine, butterscotch, and some hay and earth. Sweet and malty, with a sharp, nice bitterness. Medium body, sticky, a little acidic, and hard. This is a pretty solid pale ale. Malt forward, with earthy and musty hops.

Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy light brown with some light orange tinges around the sides of the glass. A soft thin white head died within less than a minute. Mild stringy lacing slid into the body.
The smell seemed to have had English malts up front with a light bitter grassy hoppiness running underneath.
The taste was basically the same.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium in body with a fairly decent sessionable aspect about it.
Overall, I say this was a decent English Pale ale to have again.

Best of a mediocre bunch at the Firehouse. Clear, deep golden color, thick white head, solid lacing. Aroma of pine and grass. Taste is balanced bitterness with decent body.

Tap @ Brewpub: Pours a clear golden color with a smaller sandy head. Nose is mild, but citrusy and some caramel. Tastes crisp with florals and citrus, light caramel. The bitters stand out better here than in the Red. Not bad.

Good, light malt flavor and aroma. Orange color. Mild malt flavor and classic English pale ale. Reminded me a little of a marzen.
